It’s Finally Dawn

At night she hears the bawls of wolves and you
The echoes loud — the sounds, oh God, they're grim.
To pray and hope — that's all she can do.

They lurk in empty laughter and hues,
You hide and think you're a whim
But at night she hears the bawls of wolves and you.

Specks of despair you cannot eschew
And can't conceal through a pseudonym.
To pray and hope — that's all she can do.

She waits and clings onto breakthroughs,
Eager that your doors would open
Because at night she hears the bawls of wolves and you.

You have been hurt, it is true,
And the tears have welled up to the brim.
To pray and hope — that's all she can do.

Take my hand, I'll walk with you
Through peaks and valleys, with the hopes that
At night, no more bawls of wolves and you
To pray and hope — that's all I can do.
