Social media can be overwhelming. There’s a lot of information out there that we don’t realize is affecting us one way or another. After mindless scrolls through Instagram and Twitter, I felt very insecure about my looks, my life, and myself in general. This insecurity has been lurking in my system, so I decided to take a two-week social media hiatus.
Have you ever tried activities to guide you into loving yourself, but nothing seems to work? This was the case for me when I was trying to recollect myself. I haven’t really established my boundaries, so even when I forced myself to journal everything, read a book, clean up my room, put myself out there, and practice good hygiene, I didn’t feel completely accomplished.
We all may have known or heard about the Coronavirus as we have been bombarded with news and stories about it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to be an illness caused by a virus that can be transmitted from person to person. It mainly attacks the respiratory system, but because it is a virus that hasn’t been fully researched yet, some of its aspects are yet to be discovered.
